I went to the big Photo+Expo show in New York City on Saturday.  For those
who enjoy hand coloring, here's some news.

Marshall's just introduced a new set of hand coloring Pencils called
Tropical Colors.   Included are 15 pencils in pastel and vibrant colors:
Metallic Gold & Silver, Lemon Yellow, Terra Cotta, Blue Violet, Carmine
Pink, Flesh, Mauve, Pumpkin, Olive Green, Electric Blue, Caribbean Green,
Periwinkle Blue and Warm Pink.  My first thought was great colors for kid's
clothing, flowers, bridesmaid's dresses, wedding bouquets or surreal
scenics.  Retail is around $30 but will probably sell for less through B&H
Photo in NY and others.  Marshall's is now owned by Brandess-Kalt-Aetna
Group, Inc, of Chicago.  (800) 621-5488.  They have a new web site at
