Purchase large blocks of film when it is on sale.  Put it in the
freezer until you are ready to use it.

Consider purchasing paper through eBay.  I've done this with success.

Mix your own chemicals.

Test your film.  Amazing how a little testing will give you the confidence
to bracket only accosionally.

Developer is cheap, your time is not.  Don't risk reducing the quality of
your work by reusing developer.
