jack rankin was one of the principles who attempted to manufacture
and market cyclopan 70mm joke camera early 70's. simon nathan   
they were once based in southern, california. prints may be available in
tourist shops in tahoe, at least that would be a starting point. simon

        A friend has a pan image from Lake Tahoe that they would like to get a

        The original was done by Jack Rankin in 1977. The tag on the back says:

        Lake Tahoe, Heavenly Valley,

        Taken with a Cyclo-Pan 70 Camera

                As the Eye Seet It

Numbers on the tag are

47  112777 (indicating taking day of November 27, 1977) 173 degrees, 5/36
 30-T11

If anyone knows of this photographer, or a source for a reprint I would
greatly appreciate the information.
