Hi everyone out there in IR Land

Well, the thing finally got to me. The thing is fogging.  I try to be very
careful in the field and I know its not my changing bag.  I changed films and
didn't check to make sure the top on the plastic container was secure and low
and behold the first eight exposure showed the telltale fogging across the film
and some in the sprocket hole areas.  Luckily(ugh) what was shot can be reshot
as its not going anywhere (Lake).  On a happier note, I tried FocalPro Gamma
Plus developer and was pleasantly surprised on the negatives that did not fog.
The negs are clear, sharp, and the grain is quite fine.  Ratio was 1:12, 12
minutes at 68 degrees.  This might be a good alternative to D76 and Xtol.  It
also doesn't smell as bad as Rodinal and is much more environmently friendly.
Anyhow back to the drawing boards as they say.  That's my B for the day.
