I use a WATEC 902-H Infrared video camera paired with a Computar 3.8mm f0:0.8 aspherical lens and an 87C filter . It is very sensitive (0.0003 lux). They have a new camera, the 902-HS, which they rate as 0.00015 lux.

info at http://www.watec.com/ the camera cost around $500 and has a standard "CS" mount.
I bought mine from http://www.Rock2000.com/

works great.
