Re: Kodak to discontinue HSI?

Dear All,

Have some bad news for 4x5 HSI users.


Received a letter from Kodak Professional this morning.  The letter
essentially states that there is no indication on their ordering system for
discontinuation.  However once existing stocks are depleted Kodak will no
longer be supplying 4x5 HSI.

The reasons given for the discontinuation are "due to extraordinarily low
world-wide usage of this product and a closure of a manufacturing system".

>From Stan Patz's postings it seems as though Kodak are considering
alternatives for infrared 4x5 users.  Let's hope that they decide to
continue producing an infrared film in 4x5.
