As far as Konica IR goes it seems almost indestructible... I buy out of
date film where possible (my supplier stores in a refrigerator and it's
half price) and it's still fine a year later. I've had film on the
dashboard of my car for 6 months over summer with negligible fogging along
the edges, left an exposed roll on a shelf for 3 months before processing,
and travelled overseas carrying my film all the way and processing it on my
return all without any problems.

If I go overseas I put all of my film into a clear plastic bag and carry it
onto the plane with me so that it doesn't go through the X-ray checks and
haven't had too many problems. Trying to protect film with lead packaging
is pointless since they usually just increase the power until they can see
through it.

I'm about to start shooting 35mm HIE again but I'll be treating the first
few rolls carefully to work out he processing before working out how much
abuse it can take.
Cheers

Ben
