Ahhh Ha! YES I did just that! Well, that explains a major part of the problem!
Which then is better, to meter at an ISO of 50 and meter w/o the filter or use a
higher ISO with the filter, I imagine this may be a matter of personal preference?

And yes, far to little contrast for my taste too, i even cheated a bit and gave it a
bit more in photoshop!
